weekly-wins

Weekly Wins | Week of April 27th

Every day seems to be a battle in the fight to defeat COVID-19. And yet, each day we hear new stories of the best of humanity. Stories that give us hope, stories that make us laugh, stories that remind us that we humans are still capable of love, kindness, and compassion. So, our team thought we’d highlight those “wins” each week. No matter how big or small, if it was a win for you, it was a win for us. We’ve got this.

Wins From Home

Takeovers are a great way to shakes things up. I had the honor of taking over our team’s IG this week and, honey, I had a ball. A real ball. Mind you- staying hip and relevant was at times a SERIOUS challenge. But all in all, it was a great way to hone a skill, learn some new ways to improve our behavioral coping mechanisms and chat with a ton of Nav.igators. #winfornavitquarantines

Working from home is actually positively impacting the workforce. This optimistic study proves workers across the globe are loving their new workspaces. The primary factor? The environment. 75% of respondents felt some level of guilt about their commute. WFH helps you live a #guiltfree life.

Our fellow Americans are using their Stimulus checks for good. Those in a position to give back are trying to support others in need with their additional income.

Wins from Afar

Building Business on the Street. This Lithuanian city is allowing vendors and retailers to serve customers from their streets.

Pour one out for the Seniors.….High school seniors that is. Seriously, we do feel for all students scheduled to graduate this season. These high schoolers in Canada are staying resilient online.

The Czech’s know how to party in times of COVID. City dwellers in Prague are setting up drive-thru festivals. This is not a drill. It’s happening. Called Art Parking, the ‘festival’ will be held for the next two months. Idk about you, but I can totally party from the safety of my own car. Next stop, Prague.

Wins From the Frontlines

This week’s THANK YOU is sure to include those front-liners who have helped keep us well-fed and comforted by routine. The grocery business has been faced with the huge stress to their daily supply chains and yet most at the checkout line still manage a face-masked smile. Many are seeking new ways to feed those hungry, while also supporting local farmers struggling to, err, make ends meet.

Make your money do some good. Naseku Goods is showing us all how to ‘pay it forward’ by connecting us with small businesses and artisans near and far. Their quarterly curated boxes contain premium goods made by those in recovering communities. We’re raffling off one fo their March boxes!Enter to win a Naseku Box by heading over to your app store and giving Nav.it a 5-star review and one-liner on how you’re using the app! One lucky winner will get sent a Naseku box and they’ll also be able to nominate a frontline worker in their network well deserving of a second box, free! Boom. Day, made.
